Counseling

Counseling, better known as prayer ministry or prayer counseling, consists of a semi-formal, yet relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere where people can be vulnerable and share what's going on in their life.

Based on teachings of John and Paula Sandford of Elijah House Ministries, we believe through prayer and seeking of the Holy Spirit a person can come into wholeness.

Testimonies:

"It's easy to drown in a lot of bad ideas, it's helped me battle narrowmindedness and has given me a lot of options I didn't think I had."

"I have benefited a great deal from the counseling program at UCF. I feel that my counselor really cares about me as an individual, and I am learning to trust God more and have more faith in his provision. It has been really helpful to have a counselor I feel I can really open up too"

We have a small but dedicated staff of individuals trained in prayer counseling. While it is our goal to help as many people as we can, we are limited by the number of counselors available at any given time. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to counsel people other than current church attendees.
