And let me introduce my precious wife June....

What kind of woman would put up with a guy like Andy?

Born in the Bronx, June learned to handle the adversities of life early. Most of her life was spent forty miles north of New York City in Highland Mills, NY - a true suburbian woman. June entered into a relationship with Christ while pursuing a masters at Fredonia State College thanks to the efforts of a nice african-american lady sent by God to be her roomate. We were married the next February and have lived happily ever after since.

Currently June helps me do stuff in ministry, and plays a vital role in University Christian Fellowship. She is the real backbone of all we do, and handles many of the day to day functions I tend to ignore. I get a headache just thinking about it.

She must have other interests besides Andy and ministry. What are they?

No kidding. June enjoys reading, horseback riding, playing the violin, and musical stimuli of all sorts. In addition to these interests, she can be found gardening, participating in athletics, or just busting her hump working on our ugly house. What a woman!

What do her parents think of this ministry stuff?

Well at first Gary and Ev thought the whole thing was kind of crazy. They had origionally predicted an early break-up of the marriage and begged us not to have kids. Finally after so many years of wedded bliss, they have accepted the undeniable conclusion that we (read Andy) are here to stay. We love them, and they love us, etc..and they have really stood behind our work for God. God can work things out in any situation.

You guys haven't procreated have you?

Our first child joined us on November 30, 1995 at 3:55 pm. His name is Garrett Andrew Mitchell and he is a great kid. Our second child arrived on October 19, 2000 too early in the morning for me to have an exact time. Her name is Morgan Legette Mitchell.
